Sensor support for SIN / COS Encoder or resolvers

Hello,
thank you very much for this valuable library. I asked myself if you plan to integrate the support for encoders/resolvers with single ended and/or differential sin/cos output?

Hey @HarryBenbo,

We did not really encounter these encoder so far in the forum. I think they are more common for high-performance industrial systems and legacy applications but I’d definitely be in to support them :smiley:

If you have an example code you can try to implement your own sensor class, it is very easy to do:

You can also just paste the example code here and I’ll try to include it to the next release as a new sensor: :smiley:
