Looking at the datasheet, the DRV8316’s dead time is also pretty long. 500-750ns with the fastest 200V/s slew rate setting, up to 1800-3400ns with 25V/s. I’ve only tested with 400ns on different hardware, but this method of deadtime compensation works very well to correct the sine wave distortion, and would likely work for compensating slew rate as well PWM Deadtime compensation - #39 by dekutree64
