My brushless motor is fitted with a harmonic reducer with a 1:100 reduction ratio, and only one magnet is mounted on the output shaft of the reducer for use with the AS5600 magnetic encoder. However, in the actual test, it was found that due to the large reduction ratio of the reducer, the motor rotation could not be detected when initFoc and alignSensor, resulting in the failure of initfoc. Would you like to ask if there is any way to solve this problem? Thank you so much!
Normally you’d mount it to the brushless motors shaft, not the output of the reducer.
Is it possible for you to change the magnet to mount to the input of the motor?
