Any idea to used driver stepper Dir/step for simple FOC?

Mybe someone already try it. Because i used 4pwm nor working i dont know what wrong, when i used a4988 the motor posible turn, when i used l298n the motor only shaking.

Hi,

A step-dir driver can’t be used for field oriented control. We need to be able to control the motor phases directly to do FOC.

You could run a step-dir driver with closed loop speed or position control, like a servo. But this is not FOC and not the topic of our library I’m sorry to say.

I recommend the trinamic TMC2209 for this, instead.
