I crashed my V8S and it disintegrated. The BMS shorted out somewhere due to the crash, but I managed to desolder the cells, and they seem fine. The controller has some bent components and connectors, but it looks like both the controller and the BMS can be repaired. The motor is bent and cracked on the exterior rim, but all the components seem fine.
I think I can get the rim repaired, but I was considering using a VESC and a compatible BMS as a better alternative for the controller and BMS. The V10 seems to have a similar (if not the same) motor as the V8, but with a wider tire, active cooling, and more battery capacity.
Does anyone know what commercially available VESC and BMS I could use in the V8S to sustain an output of 2000W at 72V for long periods? Also, what would be the best way to double the battery capacity from 20p2s to 20p4s to make it more or less the same as the V10?
