It seems the drivers only support CANbus control? So it may not be possible to run SimpleFOC on them?

I have been following this guy for a while - the work is incredibly impressive, I’m always blown away!

I would expect to see the magnetic sensor on the bottom side? Or is there a hole in the PCB for the magnet?

Yes the encoder is on the other side of the board.
