In Germany they legalized home-growing your own Cannabis a while ago.
The market for accessories has exploded since then. Your indoor climate sensor seems to be a perfect fit, if and when growers would have guidelines what exactly the perfect climate is during the different phases of the plant-growth and how to keep it stable.
My own attempt to grow CBD-only was a bit disappointing.

Yes many people are fascinated with that plant, I know the story…
But there is a multitude of herbs and ways to grow actual food, which is my focus.
It is true, that Germany has changed the law regarding growing medical cannabis, but my take on it is this; it is positive that people don’t need to engage with criminal gangs, who by the nature of their business wants to get people addicted. But at the same time, this must be done in a very responsible way. I think it is ok that youth can try that experiment, and when they discover that freedom is indeed to be able to say no, then there must be other options. That is why a modular system IMO is the way forward.
A modular system can be transformed into therapeutic lights, maybe a hardcore wake-up lamp, or office light etc.
My goal is to make this concept for schools, where there are many ways we can make really cool biology experiments over extended time, with automation and data.
So should we be scared to teach kids about growing plants, out of fear for one plant, ofc not.
We should indeed talk about responsibility and true freedom.
