Experience with BTN-9990 (IFX-007 followup)

Are there any experiences with the BTN-9990?
Is this as bad as the IFX-007 according to switching losses starting at low pwm-frequencies?

Hi there,

Short answer, unfortunately yes. Anything above 5KHz would overheat.

Nothing astonishing, they just repackaged the silicon. Yes, and if you look at the datasheet you will see the specs are nearly identical, just a little better on the high end of the envelope but under normal conditions they behave exactly the same. Very disappointing.

I do like however the new package. Low, compact profile and easy to cool. Also, they improved the datasheet, more information and easier to design.
