Retired electronics engineer. Have some interest in vintage sewing machines and how to improve them for better up to date performance.

I got no hands on experience with FOC, but I have read several articles about it. I do have expedience in using and controlling other kinds of electrical motors, and have started making programming for controlling brushed DC motors with an Arduino Nano late 2023. I like to know more about FOC, the motors and the ESCs used. Good low speed control and fast response to load changes are essential.
