Need slow and fast rotation. Suggestions?

Hello!
I need a solution to rotate slow like ~10-20RPM up to 3000 RPM.
The load is not much, I just need to overcome inertia of a part.

My current idea: Makerbase Gimbal Motor 2808 with Encoder AS5600 which can be found on AliExpress.

Can someone give me an estimation if this setup will be OK for my task?

It is hard to evaluate the power requirements from the information you provide. For that you need to know the inertia of the rotating system and how fast you want to accelerate the speed. How much power do you need to overcome friction at 3000 rpm? In general less power and less size of a motor cause less costs.

How much variation in speed do you accept at the low speeds? It may also be an issue regarding the encoder you use. Look these two videos about the issue:

If the demands are low, you may even avoid the encoder and run the BLDC motor like a stepper motor, but I do not know enough about the SimpleFOC software to advice about that.
